The Executive Council of the Congress of People's Deputies sent an appeal to all bodies responsible for sanctions imposed on Russian legal entities and individuals in the United States, the EU, the United Kingdom, Canada and other countries that have joined the sanctions measures.
Тhe Executive Council of the Congress of People's Deputies, guided by Article 6 of the Act on Peace adopted by the Congress of People's Deputies of February 20, 2023, is constantly working to identify individuals and legal entities contributing to the increased militarisation of the Russian Federation, directly or indirectly involved in the Kremlin regime's aggressive war of conquest against Ukraine.
This work has identified a number of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation currently involved in the development and production of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as their components and artillery shells, with which the Russian Federation is actually bombarding Ukraine on a daily basis, thereby causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure and killing civilians.
In the development and production of the relevant types of weapons, these enterprises and organisations use technologies and components from a number of European and US countries. Even in the conditions of Russia's war with Ukraine, sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, using "import substitution" techniques and logistical chains of parallel (grey) imports through third countries, Russian enterprises and institutions of the military-industrial complex continue to develop and produce weapons, including advanced and innovative models, using technologies and components from Europe and the United States, which are immediately supplied to the Russian Ministry of Defence and used in the war against Ukraine.
In order to complete the aggressive war of conquest of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, it is necessary to strengthen and targetize the sanctions pressure on a number of Russian legal entities and individuals who contribute to the waging of the aggressive war.
The Executive Council of the Congress of People's Deputies calls on the countries of the European Union and the United States of America to immediately place legal entities on the sanctions lists, as well as to apply personal sanctions to associated individuals.
