Vilents Alexey

Lawyer, arbitrator, municipal deputy, public figure.

Born in Moscow in 1970. In 1991-1993 he served in the army. In 2002 he graduated from the Moscow State Industrial University with a law degree. In 2014 he received his second higher education at the International Academy of Appraisal and Consulting (IAOK).

He worked as a lawyer in state and commercial structures. Having become a municipal deputy, he organized free legal consultations for the residents of the district.

In 2017-2021, he worked as an arbitrator at the Helsinki International Commercial Arbitration

In 2017, he was elected to the Council of Deputies of the Cheryomushki municipal district of Moscow, with the support of the Yabloko party and with assistance from Open Russia. He headed the "Commission for the Development of the District", as well as the "Working Regulatory Group", represented the interests of the residents of the district in the District Commission on Urban Planning, Land Use and Development under the Government of Moscow in the SWAO. As an expert, he took part in the work of thematic round tables in the Moscow City Duma. Membership expires in 2022.

In 2018-2019 he was the Chairman of the Presidium of the Association of Independent Deputies (Moscow), until 2021 he is a member of the Presidium.

In 2018-2020, he was the Executive Director of the Moscow branch of the Party of Change (Civil Initiative).

Active participant in the Russian opposition movement.
