October 7, 2023. The Executive Council of the Congress of People's Deputies of Russia strongly censures the barbaric terrorist attack on Israel peaceful cities and settlements by HAMAS.

We mourn the lives lost, extend our deepest sympathies to their families, and wish a smooth recovery to the wounded. Our particular concern lies with the hostages, who have fallen into the hands of terrorists. We hope for their safe return home. The right of the people of Israel and the State of Israel to self-defence is unquestionable. Our support, as in all similar cases, stands with those who are fighting against aggressors and terrorists, those who are defending peaceful citizens and upholding the rights of their people for peace and security.
We despise those who support terrorists and supply them with weapons, like Putin's Russia.
